Commit is a developing creative atelier. These terms explain the founding application, your ownership, and the permissions involved in sharing work.

Applications and atelier access

An application requests consideration for access; it is not a guarantee of admission, a paid reservation, or a promise of a launch date. The atelier currently requires approval. Features may change during development.

You must be at least 13 and meet any higher minimum age required where you live. Do not apply if you do not meet those requirements.

Your work remains yours

You retain the rights you hold in your work. Submit only material you created or have permission to use in the ways you authorize. This includes underlying images, music, samples, and identifiable people’s private information. Giving credit alone is not permission.

Permission for a private application

Submitting a founding seed allows Commit and its service providers to store, resize, process, and review it for your application. This is a non-exclusive permission, not a transfer of ownership. The unchecked artwork permission in the submission step lets you authorize Commit to publish this specific artwork on your behalf with your artist credit and selected remix setting. If you give that permission, an approved work may appear immediately in the private atelier, then publicly when the atelier launches. Approval does not grant atelier access. Older submissions require a new explicit permission before this use. You may remove your submitted artwork through My submission.

Publishing and collaboration

By accepting these terms at signup, you grant Commit permission to host, format, display, and preserve attribution for work you later choose to publish within the service. You do not need to repeat that agreement for every post. You must have rights covering those uses. The image preview enables “Allow remixes” by default. Before posting a new original, you can turn it off. Publishing with it enabled grants other permitted Commit members a non-exclusive permission to adapt the work and share attributed versions within Commit. It does not grant ownership or a separate right to sell or use the work outside Commit.

For a collaborative version, confirm that the work allows remixes, credit the original creator, and describe your contribution honestly. Versions submitted to an open collaborative work participate under that work’s remix setting. Disabling remixes on a new original prevents other members from adding versions to that work; it does not make a published image private. Permissions for off-platform sales, licensing, or other uses must be agreed separately. Do not assume those rights from a visible work or a remix button.

Withdrawal and removal

You can request withdrawal of a private application or removal of your work through Contact & requests. Removing an account, archiving a work, and withdrawing a permission are different actions. We will review any effect on other contributors and explain applicable limits. These terms do not promise that copies already lawfully downloaded by someone else can be recalled.

Account responsibility and conduct

Keep your sign-in details private and report suspected compromise. Follow the Community safety rules. Do not impersonate others, upload harmful files, bypass access controls, or publish material you do not have the right to share.

Restrictions and appeals

Commit may restrict access or remove material to investigate reports, protect people, enforce these rules, or comply with applicable law. Where appropriate, we will explain a decision and allow you to request review through the appeal route. An explanation may be limited when disclosure would create a safety risk or conflict with law.

Service changes and your rights

Development features can be interrupted or withdrawn. Keep your own original files. No purchase or subscription is created by submitting this application. Any future paid offer will have its own clear price and applicable terms before purchase.

Nothing here is intended to remove rights or responsibilities that applicable law does not allow a contract to exclude. Commit is operated by Jad Salame in Lebanon. Mandatory protections that apply to you where you live remain applicable; these terms do not require you to waive them.

Updates and questions

The date and version identify these terms. Material changes will be explained; new permissions will require an appropriate new choice. Contact Commit about rights or terms through Contact & requests.
